Connor brings over a decade of financial services experience to FS Vector, including positions on Capitol Hill, in the Executive Branch, and in the private sector. Most recently, Connor served as the Deputy Policy Director on the Senate Banking Committee for Ranking Member Tim Scott, and as a primary advisor to Republican members on all matters under the Committee’s jurisdiction. Prior to his time in the Senate, Connor worked as a Senior Professional Staff Member on the House Financial Services Committee for Chairman Patrick McHenry, with a focus on insurance, housing, and consumer finance issues.
Before working on Capitol Hill, Connor served as a policy advisor to the Deputy Secretary at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and within the agency’s Office of Congressional Affairs. Prior to his public service, Connor started his career on the government affairs team at the National Multifamily Housing Council.
Connor is a graduate of American University and a native of southeastern Massachusetts.
