Fall Associate, Government Relations Team

About Us

FS Vector is a strategic consulting firm that works with financial services clients in a rapidly evolving industry and regulatory environment. We provide expertise at the intersection of technology, government, and traditional finance to serve clients as a trusted partner at each stage of growth—from early-stage ventures to global organizations. Our team delivers a variety of resources our clients need in one firm, including advisory, licensing, government relations, and training services.

The Government Relations Team

The Fall Associate will collaborate with our Government Relations team, which equips clients with timely political insights and strategic engagement tools to navigate and influence an ever-evolving policy landscape. Leveraging deep expertise in policymaking and regulatory systems, the Government Relations team supports clients by delivering political intelligence, fostering strategic partnerships, and executing targeted government relations, coalition building, and public affairs initiatives.

The Role

The Fall Associate on our Government Relations team should demonstrate a strong interest in financial services policy, politics, regulation, and emerging technology companies. Ideal candidates will be passionate about public policy and public affairs, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, well-structured documents.

Fall Associates on our Government Relations team will support the team by tracking and analyzing political and regulatory developments relevant to our clients, synthesizing insights, and delivering thoughtful, coherent analysis. They will also play a key role in conducting in-depth research and producing concise, well-informed memos on topics of interest to clients—including regulatory developments, legislation, and broader policy issues—to provide clear and actionable insights.

Seasonal Associate positions at FS Vector require a three-month commitment. The Fall Associate internship will run from September 8, 2025, to December 19, 2025. The expected work schedule is Monday to Friday, with an anticipated workload of 35 to 40 hours per week. Please note, we are only considering candidates based in the DC area at this time.
