On March 1, edits were made to definitions of the first mortgage servicing, master servicing, and subordinate lien servicing business activities. Each of these activities was split into two for clarity purposes. Companies must now select whether they engage in whole loan servicing and/or master servicing rights for these activities. The definitions for third-party first mortgage servicing and third-party subordinate lien mortgage servicing were updated as well for clarity purposes.
