The Advocacy Team

We arm clients with political intelligence and targeted engagement strategies to stay ahead in a constantly evolving policy landscape. Our team’s knowledge of how policymaking works – both in and outside government – along with our understanding of the regulatory apparatus allows us to reach and educate policymakers at every level.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal to join our team focused on blockchain, digital assets, and artificial intelligence (AI) policy issues. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience with public policy issues with significant work in blockchain, digital assets, and/or AI. The Principal will be able to lead client engagements, facilitate high-level meetings, and draft policy deliverables. This position requires strong interpersonal and writing skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex political and regulatory environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support client engagements, providing strategic advice on blockchain, digital assets, and AI policy matters.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with key stakeholders, including policymakers on Capitol Hill, regulators, and members of the Trump administration.
  • Draft comment letters, client deliverables, and other policy-related documents that address regulatory, legislative, and industry-specific issues.
  • Monitor and analyze federal and state regulatory and legislative developments, providing clients with actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations on emerging policy trends and potential regulatory changes impacting blockchain, digital assets, and AI.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate or law degree preferred.
  • At least seven years of experience in public policy with substantial work in blockchain, digital assets, and/or artificial intelligence. Familiarity with Capitol Hill, regulatory processes, and working with government officials and agencies is strongly preferred.
  • Strong writing skills, with experience drafting formal comment letters, policy papers, and other regulatory documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A deep understanding of the political, regulatory, and industry landscapes surrounding emerging technologies, particularly in blockchain, digital assets, and AI.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.

Total compensation may also include a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance, with adjustments made for relevant experience and specialized skills.
